BOMBER COMMAND BRANCH RAAF ASSOCIATIONThe Annual Commemorative Service will be held in Canberra on June 3rd 2012. It will be preceded the night before , Sat. 2nd, in the Air Force display of the Australian War Memorial, by a ' Meet and Greet' cocktail party under WWII Lancaster Bomber 'G' for George. A Wreath Laying Ceremony on Sunday 3rd June will be held concurrently with a service at the Sydney Hyde Park War Memorial.Full details will be posted here shortly. Does anyone know my 2 uncles, Bruce & Ralph Bairnsfather. B flew with 460 sqn RAAF & R with 49 sqn RAF. A book has just been written about them. pls contact me.

April 10th when we had the wall dedicated was one of the most moving and exciting days. Having 6 original members of 10 and 461 there will always be remembered.
